International Women's Day - Crestbridge Edition
As we come to the end of International Women's Day, we wanted to celebrate the successful women we have working with us, and to talk to them about what it is like to work at Crestbridge.
• What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
It’s a time for celebrating women generally – not just those in leadership positions but all women, regardless of age, ethnicity or achievements. It’s a reminder of the importance of embracing equality, challenging discrimination and celebrating the success of women.
• What does its theme this year #ChooseToChallenge mean to you?
We need to challenge ourselves. Far too often we hold ourselves back because of limiting beliefs. Women can be as inspirational as the next person, so we must gain the confidence to believe in ourselves. We can do anything we set our minds to do.
• Thinking about IWD, what is your experience of working at Crestbridge?
Crestbridge is an inspiring and inclusive place to work. Our people are appraised on merit and everyone has a voice. We are fortunate to have some incredibly inspirational women at all levels at Crestbridge and of our 27 promotions this year, 17 were female.
• What advice would you give to other women about their careers in general and at Crestbridge?
Be open and honest and true to yourself about your career aspirations, find yourself an inspirational mentor and believe in yourself.
